Not your average NY resolution tip…

If you find that you typically get sidetracked from goals I’m about to give you ONE simple reframe that will keep you focused, so stop what you’re doing and SAVE THIS POST.

For those who don’t already know, I’m Laura from Corridor Personal Training and I help busy people get leaner, stronger and more confident.

What I’m about to share with you works EVERY TIME to help me focus on what really matters when it comes to my goals…

“The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.” (Remember this from yesterday?)

When you set a goal like a New Year’s resolution, it can turn into a huge production. You start out telling yourself you’re going to work out a few days a week, or you’re going to switch up your nutrition. Then you realize there are a lot of things that you should do, or could do, to reach that goal faster.

This might mean buying new workout clothes, or spending hours finding the perfect meal plan, or buying new fitness equipment. The list keeps growing and before you know it, it’s February and you haven’t even started. All those ideas for the “extra” things are all just busy work because the ONE THING that will move you closer to your goals is the MAIN THING…the action goal you set in the first place.

Such as the workouts, or the foods you are eating. Reaching your goals is a constant process of circling back to the MAIN THING.

It’s human nature to want to do things “better,” “more,” or “optimized.” That’s great, as long as it doesn’t get in the way of the MAIN THING, which for most of my fat loss clients is focusing on nutrition first.
