Those who have worked with me already know that I truly donāt like the idea of ādietingā and much prefer the idea of building and maintaining healthy eating habits.
When it comes to Thanksgiving, or any social eating situation, I encourage people to consider 2 thingsā¦.
1) Does the item Iād like to eat align with my overall health goals?
2) If not, am I ok with the understanding that reaching my goals will be likely delayed a bit?
If so go ahead! Enjoy the item mindfully and in moderation. Itās not about being deprived, itās about being mindful and making conscious choices.
